What programs are there to Jailbreak a 3G? Not an (S).

Ive had several problems with using redsn0w to jailbreak my iPhone 3G.

Ive seen some people comment about using this purplera1n, but is it compatible to use on a 3G?

If not, what programs are?

redsn0w is about it. I personally recommend using redsn0w 0.72 for the 3G, it seems to be about the most reliable version of redsn0w... not as many problems with waiting for the reboot.
