How do I increase volume it is too low

I am watching you tube and the volume dissent get loud enough
It does on my iPod touch

Welcome to iMore! To increase the volume, tap the Volume Up button on the side of the device. You can also slide upward from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center and turn it up there. If the volume still isn't getting loud enough I recommend using headphones or connecting a bluetooth speaker. You can purchase decent bluetooth speakers pretty inexpensively these days.

i would try an app for watching youtube as when i use mine direct to just watch outube from browser i get low sound too.
