I've tried several of them and eventually went back to the default. It's the only one that works with my "You've Got Mail" ringtone. Although I do find it rather annoying that the notification sound goes off when I put an unread email into the trash. I also feel that they could make it a lot easier to delete an email.... there should be a little trash icon sitting right there when you're reading an email, so you're tapping once to delete and not twice.

Since having my first iPhone, a white 4S, I've relied on the native email app for my accounts and I'm happy enough with the performance. I'm not a email power user so it works well for my needs🏽

Recently coming from Android, I use the same Gmail (for personal and work) and Outlook (for other personal and Office 365 EDU accounts) apps that I used on my S3 and Note 4. I have been tempted to try the native mail app, but I'm so used to using the others that I didn't see a need to set it up. (Pardon my ignorance if the native app does the following) I really like that both will pull in all of my folders that I have on the web and in Gmail (I don't send much from the Outlook accounts) pulls in my contacts and auto-suggests in the "to" field when I start typing. That said, I feel that the Outlook app is overall functionally better and offers more features than Gmail on iOS.

Used to use the stock app, then graduated to CloudMagic, but now I'm torn between Spark and Outlook.

The stock mail app is good enough, I do not need anything special.

I've tried Outlook, but I keep coming back to the stock app because I prefer how it integrates with iOS and my iOS contacts. I didn't like the way that Outlook presents my iOS contacts. Like others have said, it seems to do everything I need with feature upgrades from recent years.

Well the stock app stores your account credentials on their servers too. They all need it for you to get emails and notifications etc.

I just started using Airmail since it was released for iOS. It is GREAT. I still have all my mail accounts configured in the native app, so I can send mail from links etc. But Airmail is far superior for organization and customization.

Bamf-hacker, is it properly pushing/receiving emails? I was using Spark, but it was horrible at staying current. I have noticed others stating they have problems with it being current. I'm hoping it does because of its ability to integrate with third party apps.

Yep it is working great for all of my Gmail accounts. I installed the official gmail app to compare I am getting the notifications almost at the same time from both Airmail and Gmail.

Aside from Outlook for my work email, the native app is the only thing I use for email.
Three iCloud accounts and one Live account.

I'm actually testing out the new AirMail for iOS app, but if this doesn't pan out for me, I'll go back to either the native Mail app or the Outlook for iOS app.

Can you set a custom tone for incoming mail? That's really my only must have option for an email client.

Really???? I am loving it. Why did you switch back? I don't like that Outlook tries to bundle everything together, mail, calendar etc...
