Earbud problem with iphone x

I can only hear playback (music, voice messages, audio with videos) through one earbud with iphone X. Anyone else? Or any fixes?

Without anything else to go on, my first instinct is to say the one earbud is bad.

You either have a dirty Lightning port or defective Earbuds. A trip to an Apple Store would solve either ones =)

You could clean your port by yourself, but you might as well just go to the Apple Store directly to have your Earbuds checked anyway.

One other thing to check is settings / General / accessibility and make sure that hearing isn’t set to just one channel. (Though you’d have had to set that yourself so I doubt that’s it...). Probably an issue with the earbuds, or the dongle, if you’re using that.
