I am actually looking forward to the silver. I always liked the black or grey iPhones, never the white faced ones, no more white on the front.

I'm really surprised seeing the silver in person now. I thought it would have a more opaque/translucent look to it at an angle. Like all the videos it looks like the apple logo is under the glass. That doesn't seem to actually be the case. I still like it though.

Was installing the screen protector hard?
I tried installing one and it seemed like it didn’t fit the screen size properly.

Not at all. But also you can see I got it perfectly aligned.

Silver 64GB all set up and ESR protector and Nomad rugged leather case installed. ESR uses a template thing. Wow fastest install I've ever done. Has what looks to be a flaw in it midway down the left edge. Thought it was some fuzz but dust tape on the underside and the screen didn't remove it and there's no bubble like if something was really there. Enjoy the final pics from my 7+

The screen protector I received did not fit the display properly. The notch part of the protector kept on reflecting rainbow shines around it.

This one is just barely above the top edge of the screen at the notch, maybe I should have put it up against the bottom, but it hasn't caused any issues and the rest of it seems right at the edges of the screen. I don't know if/how long I'll keep it on but will run it for now at least. I didn't have one on my 7+ for the last couple months and the only obvious thing there was a few micro-scratches in the coating on it. I've already fumbled my X a few times though so maybe at least until I get used to the new shape/size.

Yeah it’s better to be safe.
I used my 7 Plus naked for three months and not a single scratch, but I still worry about the X’s screen.
