What's the best FREE Twitter app?

is that just with the paid version or is it apply with the free version also?

Ahh yes the Twitter app debate. I have about 10 different ones and am constantly swapping them back and forth and usually have 3 of them installed at the same time, I can never make up my mind. I go a lot between Twittelator, Tweetie, and Twitterrific.

PhxBlue, I do the same thing as you do. I go back and forth on different ones, but I will only have one on my phone at a time. I found a twitter app thats called tweeterna, but it costs.

There's also TwitBird that I just came upon..it looks neat,but haven't downloaded it yet.

Got both of those and dont like either of them. Check out "Birdfeed" its a nice one too.

I have the paid version, and I think the difference is push notifications. The free one doesn't have Push.

Check out Tweetings too. Doesn't get enough press in my opinion.

By the way, anybody know if/when Twitterrific is going to get an update? I really like it as an app but really wish it had landscape typing.

I had TweetDeck there for awhile, but I am currently using Twitterific. I like when you load the app and it tells you how many new tweets you have.

I use Twitterrific, I can't really tell you my reasons for liking it though, I guess it was just the first Twitter client I found and now I am used to it. Does everything I need it to do.
