Please take a look at the the DocScanner? application for iPhone.

docscan_ad_001.jpg

Scan any document to your iPhone and save it as a PDF-file or just send it with e-mail - all in just a few seconds. No cropping or rotating needed, DocScanner? does it for you automatically!
All you need to do, is to take a photo of any document with the application and determine the options you like. As long as the background is darker than the document, the DocScanner? will understand the edges of the document. After the photo has been taken, the application will crop, rotate and correct the perspective for you.

Four steps to scan your documents:

  1. Take a photo of the document with the application.
  2. The application will now automatically determine the edges of the document and prompts for the result. All you need to do, is to decide the quality and size of the document.
  3. DocScannerTM will then automatically correct the keystones. No need for manual rotating, cropping or scaling.
  4. The document is now ready for sending via e-mail as a PDF-file or you can save it to the photo album.

Norfello's DocScanner? is now available on the iPhone App Store for 9.99$ (7,99?).

Low Res

Hi, can I ask how the program performs considering the relatively low camera resolution? Do you have samples of scanned images you could provide? I am definitely interested in the application and would be more than happy to do an in depth review of your product in exchange for a download of it.

EDIT: Could you advise everyone of the price? Saves us reaching for the App Store.

Hi Marc!

I have now attached a sample in a4-size grayscale image. The Resolution is 136 dpi, so it's ok when printed with a home/officeprinter. The image resolution is still very good on screen displaying.

More info & screenshots

The price is 9.99$ / 7,99?
