If the iPhone 8 ends up being delayed months, would you wait or upgrade to another model?

So I know it is all hypothetical, but if the iPhone 8 ends up being delayed month(s) after the 7s/7s+ would you upgrade to another model or wait?

But seriously, I'm hoping the phone isn't delayed at all. I wanted the 7 Plus late last year and didn't get one... then figured I'd hold out for a bit to the new one. Not sure how much more patient I can be lol

Let’s say that I was locked in on getting an iPhone 8 in September, and then Apple announced that it would be delayed for ‘months’. The delay would not alter my plans to get the iPhone 8. I would just continue using my current device until I’m able to snag the new one....
