Unable to dial out from my Contacts

When trying to dial from my contact, it takes me to a window whose title is "Welcome to Mail." The list includes iCloud, Exchange, Google, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook.com and Other. I have already signed into iCloud and G-Mail (Google), but I still always get this window when trying to dial out from contacts. Anyone know how to fix this? Help is appreciated. Fred

Do you mean when you try to call a contact from in the contact card? Do you forward mail from one email account to another?
Try a hard reset first.
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

Try Reset All Settings
Go to Settings >General >Reset >Reset All Settings. This resets to default everything in Settings, including notifications, alerts, brightness, and clock settings like wake up alarms.

Do you have a number associated with that contact? If you only have an email, then the email app will pop up for you to send an email. Happened to me on a contact with no number.
