notifications & ringtones

Need some help, please. My wife wants to put a few new sounds on her 7plus. She has put them in her Mac's iTunes, but can't figure out how to get them on her phone. Her 7plus has IOS 14.2 on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

OK, maybe I didn’t say it correctly. First of all, I know nothing about iPhones. Now, when I plug this iPhone into my Mac, shouldn’t it be recognized by the Mac? I have the tunes on the Home Screen, but can’t drag & drop them onto the phone.

If the Mac is running macOS Catalina or Big Sur, the iPhone will be detected and managed by Finder, not iTunes. When you connect the iPhone to the Mac, trust the computer, if prompted.

AM i missing something? When an email comes into this phone(7plus), screen doesn't come on and notification sound doesn't come on...until i open the phone and tap on the mail icon. I need some help, or a doctor. Thanks.

Have you verified that Notifications are set AND have you verified the notification status and sound are set for each configured account?

Check both the “sections” indicated by the arrows in the screenshot, if you haven’t already.

Yes to both. Deleted email and re-installed it, and that did the trick. Thanks.

OK, now as to my first problem. Has anyone here ever used EaseUS MobiMover to get tones onto their phone, instead of iTunes? I still can't solve that problem, but i've gotten two ios updates in the past week. 14.2 & 14.3. My wife wants to sell this phone, but i may just keep it and delve into the Dark Side called Apple. I could use a list of Apple apps that are basically the same as the Android apps that i have been using for about ten years. Thanks.
