Screen Locks While On A Call

As the title states, when I'm on a call my screen locks. When doing so, I lose the ability to interact with the call (can't put it on speaker, etc.) without first unlocking the phone. I don't remember it ever doing this before iOS 10. I've been on the iOS 10 betas and thought with the official release it would be fixed, but I guess not. Anyone else notice this? Know of a fix?

I only know that you can do a backup and reset the whole iPhone. If that doesnt work it is a applecare garanty.

It doesn't do it every time. Just some of the time. I can't quite pinpoint what is causing it. But it's annoying. And can be whether I place or receive a call.

Mine does it too. Did it on the betas and now on the GM. Seems like when it reaches the normal screen timeout duration is when I notice it. It's quite annoying. Even just to hang up you have to tap the green call bar at the top before the hang up option comes back

Looks like this is a bug. At least I know I'm not crazy. Sure is a pain, though.
