Is there a way to change the date that shows on a picture that I took & have in my photos on IPhone?

I want to change the date from today to a date in February. I have an IPhone 6.

What, exactly, needs to be done? Is there a date on the photo now that needs to be removed?

The app Phonto can add a date to an image.

The only way to do this is with a 3rd party app. The app Metadata Pro will allow you to change date on photos and videos.
