Data recovery after restoring to old phone rather then set up as new phone

I've been using my iPhone 6+ for months as I've been traveling and finally got home to restore it (never backed up before) and accidentally restored to my old iphone name rather then new now all messages, voicemail and most importantly 1,600 photos and videos gone. Didn't backup to icloud and have tried data recovery but they only get the old photos from my old phone which are now on my new phone. Any hope? If I jailbreak can I get filenames and add .jpeg or somehow get to the photos as it means a lot! The company "Data Recovery" said Apple encrypts them when I called with my situation but I never knowingly encrypted them and maybe they are still there not encrypted they just don't know how to recove
