Why isn't the iTunes number of songs on the playlist no longer there?

iTunes number of songs on playlist is no longer there

Before the iTunes / Apple Music update I was able to see how many songs I had on my iPhone playlist. That has disappeared. How to I get that back?

in iTunes on computer - View menu - Show Status Bar... and it's at the bottom center of the app window.

I mean on my iphone in Apple music below the last song it listed the number of songs I have.

That's gone. It only shows how many songs there are in playlists currently.
Maybe they'll add it back in the future.

Thanks. Why they did that I cannot figure it out, only that Tim Cook could do something like that!
