Seriously, why does it matter? Why does the topic of 'girly' or 'feminine' phones always appear on forums on mobile nations? Unless you are a hyper macho man who insists on making every aspect of his life as masculine as possible to enforce a false image of himself, you shouldn't even hesitate to think of how people will see your phone. Being girly isn't a bad thing in the first place. Come on guys.

To answer the OP's question, I don't see the problem with a man having the gold iPhone. I would definitely use one and love it. I don't see why people believe that the color white or white with gold trim signifies femininity. I think it is perfectly fine. Now if there was a pink iPhone, then I would say that you could question it.

I just bought a Gold 5s yesterday. I'm about as guy as it comes. Hot Rod garage nut, motorcycle rider, and truck driver.

I was bored with the white and black. I got the gold on a whim, and I love it.

I don't think the gold is for females or anything, it's just another color choice. It isn't my first choice of color, Space Gray is, but I still wouldn't mind having a Gold 5s. I think it looks pretty cool

Last year when the 5S came out I wanted Gold but it was a PITA to get so I settled for Space Grey...which I later sold for profit.

I got bored of my 16GB iPad mini Wi-Fi so I traded it for 16GB Gold. I'll admit as much as I love android and my G3 it's nice to go back to iOS.

I've had my GOLD 5s since December 4th and it's in prestine condition (no scratches). I can't really speak on the Silver 5s because I do not own one, but maybe some one who had/have both colors can chime in.
