Fingerprint scanner

I am having problems with the fingerprint scanner, sometimes it work and sometimes it does not. Anyone else having similar problems and what steps are needed to make this work properly?

Yes mine works about 50% of the time.

I didn't want to start a new thread since everyone here is talking about the home button. I just received my gold 5S and the home button pushes down at the bottom instead of the whole button going in. My other 5S wasn't doing this and my 5 either. Is that just this device or are any of you seeing this? I have OCD so I'm trying not to let it bother me but I'd like to know...
