how do i find a photo i took on 25 august 2015 using my iphone 4s

I took an important photo using my iphone 4s on 25 august 2015 and now I can't find it. Should it be on icloud? I'm sure I didn't delete it from my phone but have gone through the albums and the photos and now can't find it.

Welcome to iMore! Open the Photos app, the click on "Photo" at the bottom, left of the screen, from there you can use the button at the top, left of the screen to "zoom" out in time (it usually cycles through collections, then years). From there you can look at groupings of photos that were taken with your phone by ranges of time. As long as you have iCloud Photo Library enabled in Settings or you still have the photo on your phone you should be able to find it there.

Be sure to look in your recently deleted album. You can also log in to iCloud. Com on a computer and see if it's there.
