Does the latest IOS work well with the 4s or is there a a older IOS that would work better?

Im not big phone user, just want basic talk, text and minimal data ... I needed a different phone for bluetooth pairing with my GPS and the camera on my old phone sucked so I have a used 4s 32 coming ... It is AT&T locked and I am going to use a Straight Talk sim.... Does the latest IOS work well with the 4s or is there a a older IOS that would work better for me.. I would rather have a smoother trouble free unit than have access to things Im not going to use anyway.... Any advice would be appreciated... Thanks, wildherre

Yes iOS 7 runs very good on the 4s you will have a pleasant experience if you choose to go this route the camera is good as well

When I had my 4S the last update I did was 7.0.3 until I bought my 5S which now has 7.0.4 but I know many people using 4S with the latest software available with great response and minimal issues if any.
