Plugged my phone in and nothing happened?

This is the first time this has happened to me but I woke up and tried to plug my phone into my charger while my phone was locked and in sleep mode and when I plugged it in it did not begin to charge. Nothing happened? So I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked. It's working fine now but wondering why the phone and charger didn't work with each other?

Funny, someone else just had this problem and it turned out he was jailbroken as well.

No not jb. It just didn't recognize my phone into the charger then I took it out and put it back in and it worked. Wonder what it could of been? Charger? Phone?

My phone did the same. It turned out to be the charging port. Apple replaced the phone

If you purchased your phone within the past 30 days there is a possibility they will give you a new phone. If not you will receive a refurbished device.

And their refurbs are just as good, if not better, than new ones. So I wouldn't worry about it at all.
