    I also have a iPhone 5 and iPad will it clear everything off them as they are all connected.

    First - log out of iTunes/iCloud in settings then go to Settings>> General>> Reset>> Erase all content and settings...

    It does exactly what it says... if you're prompted to remove stuff from iCloud, say "no" unless you want to do that...
