No ring after attaching to Ford Sync

I am on vacation. The car we rented has the ford sync system. I attached my iPhone 4 to it and everything was working fine. I unattached it and now my phone does not ring only vibrate. Any ideas? I tried changing the tone. Adjusting the volume. Power cycle. And thing else I can do?

Have you checked the mute button on the side of the device? Also, you may have to go to Settings-General-Reset and either "reset network settings" or "reset all settings".
