Not enough available storage on my iPhone

I tried to rent a movie from itunes via my iPhone 4. However, I don't have enough available storage. I deleted all items that I can, but still dont have enough space. Does anyone know if there's a way that I can move the pending purchase to itunes on my pc, so that I can put the movie onto my ipod?

If you purchased it on the iPhone I don't believe that it's possible based upon what the iPhone User Guide states:

I do not think that it is possible. The screenshot that CG68 provided is very helpful though, since it provides all the necessary answers to your question.

Why don't you temporarily unsync all your music (or something else) to allow enough space for you to download the rented film. Once you have watched it you can then just sync your music to your iPhone again
