Searching gmail via imap

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone could clarify searching gmail on the iPhone. I've noticed that when I search my all mail folder it doesn't seem to pick up text in the body of messages, only the to, from, and subject fields.

Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it?

I noticed this too. I can only search my gmail if I set it up as a normal gmail account (not exchange).
