GMail Sync Issues after 13.1.2 Update

I have noticed since the 13.1.2 update, my gmail sync has been acting weird in my mail app? I have seen a few gmail server sync errors pop up and my inbox doesn’t seem to be refreshing as it normally does?

I have been using the mail app and have had it synced to my gmail account for years and haven’t had any major issues. It’s always been set to push and fetch every 15 minutes.

Hopefully someone else has had the same issues as I have had and sent Apple a bug issue complaint and they come out with a fix in the next update.

I've seen one server error, but otherwise rock-solid. FWIW, push doesn't work with a gmail account - it uses the fetch rules. I have mine set to "automatic" and it's really been fine.

I'd almost suggest deleting and re-creating the gmail account and see if that fixes it for you.

I’ve not noticed any sync-related issues with my gmail account via the native Mail app.

I know this does not address your issue, but give Spark app a try sometime. Super nice and has instant push

The Spark app is exactly what I use for my work-related Gmail and it works great!
