I have always wondered how great the iPhone 3GS really was. I know that this phone has revolutionized the way we communicate. From all the new capabilities with Facebook and surfing the internet, the iPhone 3GS has started a new trend.

Where would we be Apple did not come out with the iPhone?

I would imagine that the landscape would be very different.

Without Apple' iOS, there might be an Android, but not at the level it is today - no Apple, not as much incentive to innovate.

Or we'd all be suffering from the Blue Screen of Death on Windows Mobile.

Just think back to what phones were like before the iPhone. Windows mobile devices, blackberries and palm os dominated the early smart phone scene.
