This is why I posted this...all kinds of different bills from different folks..
$119 for plan + $60 for 2 data packs + $22 of ins for both phones + taxes, etc..= way more than $187. More like $200 and change..

And we have about $2 in text message costs on the two lines w/o a text plan. And this all can be yours for $140 a month!
Nslasha, I don't get how you're paying what I'm paying when youve got an extra data plan and a netbook costing you $90 extra. By my count w/o a discount you've got to be well over $200/month because the data plans and netbook alone are $150.Last edited by icebox93; 03-04-2011 at 02:44 AM.

We share 1400 minutes and all three with unlimited text. 19% discount. $187.03-04-2011 07:17 AMLike 0
- I don't mean to intrude, but I thought I'd post my AT&T plan info JUST AS A POINT OF REFERENCE. I am not trying to start a "war", but rather, attempting to show that for the same services, we are paying close to the same amounts.
We have 4 smart phones (3 iPhones w unlimited data; one BlackBerry with the 250MB data plan), 1400 minutes, unlimited texting with an employer discount (23%) and NO handset insurance coverage. With tax, we pay $229/month.03-04-2011 08:43 AMLike 0 - My bill is 121 including taxes.
1400 min with unlimited texting, friends and family, two lines with iPhones, both lines with unlimited data. That price includes taxes.
I have a 17% discount on the plan, plus an additional 20% off data, and I'm on a promotional plan that discounts an additional 20 a month per line that has unlimited data. So my data costs me primary line about 6 bucks and the secondary line 9.99. My wife has the iPhone for 20 a month on our plan including data. The feature code is Talk Text & Data $20.03-04-2011 08:55 AMLike 0 - 3 lines, one iPhone, one Blackberry, one feature phone (dumbphone) [the latter two have not been updated yet], $30/month data on iPhone and BB, $10 a month texting plan on the iPhone, $11 insurance on the iPhone, neither on the latter two. 20% employer discount. This month had some shuffling due to the change from BB to iPhone on main line so there was some additional charges but around $168 for this bill. Usually between the $150-$160 range if I remember correctly.03-04-2011 09:49 AMLike 0

- No discounts, Family Shared Plan 700 mins, 2 iPhones, Unlimited, 2 times the insurance $10.99, 1 iPhone using $20 Hotspot, with taxes approx. $200, the reason why I say approx. is because this last bill was higher than normal because of adding 2 new iPhones, they prorate features..03-04-2011 07:46 PMLike 0
- My first bill is showing up as $157 with 22% discount on voice and features. I have one iPhone w/ 450 mins and unlimited text and data, no insurance. My discounts must not be applied for some reason even though they are listed on my account and I can view my bill yet though.
Anyone else this high for a single line on one phone with no overages?03-05-2011 01:17 AMLike 0 - My first bill is showing up as $157 with 22% discount on voice and features. - On my first Verizon bill they charged me an up front one month charges . First month plus an additional month up front. I never was told of this method of billing and when I called they told me that is how they start a new customer. Way to go VZM...and they ask me to recommend another friend to switch to VZM??
My future bills will be the actual plan plus taxes.03-05-2011 12:16 PMLike 0 - Wow! Are all these bills from vzw?? If so, anyone want a new "brother and sis" to add to their family??lol
I figure I'll end up paying around $200 for 2 ip4s on 1400 family share w insurance...then take off 15 to20%(she thinks) from the wifa's primary..so what...$20 or so tops? Now take $40 off from my company for using mine for work.
Thats around $160 ballpark I'll be shelling out..03-05-2011 01:12 PMLike 0 - 2 lines sharing 600 minutes. (1 iPhone and 1 dumb phone) Unlimited data and 250 texts for iPhone. $102 per month including taxes. No discounts.03-05-2011 03:57 PMLike 0
