Need some help with jailbreaking

I was given an Ipod touch 2g (mc model) and am looking to jailbreak it. I cant find an untethered version... can anyone help?

Just gotta wait it out .. I think the two jailbreaks that are trying to be released is redsn0w and greenpois0n .. From what I've read anyways. Both are trying to get the jailbreak for 4.2.1 out as quickly as they can. I'm waiting for the greenpois0n one because they said that one you don't need to have blobs or whatever saved ... And since I have no idea what that means, lol, that's good for me.
