Went from J/B 3.1.2 to 4.0 and still have carrier name change

Hey all, after majors issues the last few days with my 3.1.2 j/b 3gs with blackra1n I decided to just update to 4.0 to get the phone right again. But whats crazy is the carrier name is still changed from a jailbroken application. I'm not sure which program I used but its still there. Anyone heard of this?

It's b/c you restored from a backup. To address this, restore as new and it will be gone.

OR you can just go to ...

Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset All Settings

and it will go back to the original default carrier name

it happened to me too. I didn't restore my iPhone to new before updating to 4.0 and the numeric battery meter and carrier name changer stayed while everything else updated to 4.0. Just reset settings and it should clear out.

Yeah same thing happened to me. Didn't know how to change it back to default but now I do. Thanks.
