Some Contact info lost going to 3.1

I'm not sure if any of you had this issue but:
My upgrade to 3.1 went very smoothly except for the contacts. Any contact who had a custom ringtone assigned to them was set back to default. Also, the photo assigned to them went from the full screen type to the thumbnail type.

Any ideas why?

Just did a check of my contacts and I to lost the ringtone setting. However I don't see were any pictures have chanaged for my contacts

My pics & set ringtones were fine. I'm using a 3GS
