Anyone notice that the Product Red color in this lineup is slightly more of that coral(orange) color they've used? It definitely isn't as a deep a red as they've used for Product Red in the past. Curious choice. Must be the glass back???

Event the product red iPhone 11 wasn't the same deep red as the XR. The SE 2020 and XR are currently my preference as a red. The 11 and 12 look too pastel red.

I remember that Apple has changed the shade of "Product Red" before. I loved the darker, glossier red they used on the iPhone 11. If it really is more of a coral, then that definitely makes my decision to get the blue even easier.

I'm watching the iMore show, which is currently live, and asked about the shade of red. Rene confirmed that it is a lighter red.

-Good to know. Thanks for the heads up. I actually went with my own research on this before 8AM yesterday and opened up a few browsers and lined up the 2020 SE and iPhone 11 with the new iPhone 12 on the Apple website and you can tell pretty easily that it is a lighter orange-ish red. Sooooo, I pre-ordered the white iPhone 12. I think I have had only red or black iPhones since the jump. Time for a switch up.

I have had white iPhones before and I always loved them.

Looking at reviews today, the product red is even less red than last year. Looks more peach/coral.

No idea what Apple’s strategy is with this.

I was seriously thinking about the product red... because I loved it so much on last year's iPhone 11. But I'm not thinking about it any longer. There's nothing wrong with Coral, but it's just not for me.

Thank for posting this video. I'm soooooo glad I went with white and not the Red. That most definitely is a more coral color than red.

So Product Red is now Product 'Coral'? I've always liked the deep red color version, however the Xs Max, 11 Pro Max and now the 12 Pro Max doesn't come in Product RED, if it did I would purchase in a heartbeat.

iPhone 11 and the 12 in Product Red. Pretty obvious the 11 is a deeper red. I don't know why I'm so fascinated by this. Lol. I think it's that they insist on calling the "red" on the 12 Product Red when, in my eyes, it's not red.

I love the product red, but since I am getting a Max, no product red... however I always use an Apple Red Silicone Case so I can just pretend. It makes it easier when ordering on the 6th, I will try for the black/graphite, and if not will pick whatever is available in 256GB for the delivery day... the color is moot as I never actually see it.

I purchased the product red 12 on Sunday returned it yesterday for the pacific blue 12 Pro and I’m so much happier.

Unfortunately the red this year is way too pinkish and salmon-esque lol.
