I have found directions for overcoming the "slide to upgrade" frozen screen that involved hooking the mini to iTunes on a computer and updating via iTunes. However after following the I tunes directions the iTunes on the computer seems to be stuck at the following g step..."backing up "iPad"" at to of screen with a gray barbelow saying IOS 9.0. iTunes is preparing to update the software on this IPad. Been like that for over an hour with only indication that Anything is happening being thE scroll of the blue bar below the backing up bar. Is this normal? Should I keep waiting? Do not think the ad mini has ever been synced or backed up before now.
