iPad Air annoyances after IOS8 update.

I've just updated my iPad Air to IOS8 and I wish I hadn't!

1. When looking at a long page in Safari the top toolbars etc. automatically disappear.
I don't want it to do this because I use the refresh icon a lot and it now takes an extra swipe to get the top bit back.
Very annoying.

2. When a piece of text is highlighted/selected (to e.g. copy it) you used to be able to cancel the highlighting by just quickly tapping anywhere else on the screen.
Now it doesn't seem to work.

I am sorry you are not happy with the update- maybe over time you will learn to like it

It is just a matter of time . Please relax . You will get over the snags and be comfortable with ios8 upgrade

I don't want to "get over" the snags, I want it as it was before the changes. Or at least have an option to change it back. Apple are just assuming that most (all?) users will like the new changes.
