FaceID is definitely opening faster. I wonder if this means it's less secure.

Has anyone been able to use the speakerphone? When I place a call the buttons are greyed out!

And they really need a dark theme! The dialer is hideous all white. Especially considering the X has an amoled display.

Am I the only one having issues with maps. Everything else on IOS 12 is working fine for me except my NAV. No matter what navigation app I use!!

I had problems with maps yesterday. Set the destination but no movement once I got moving.

I used Apple Maps for a street in the neighborhood I couldn’t find.
It took 30 seconds to find my current location and navigate me to the destination.
I guess it’s working just fine for me.

Just used Apple Maps in Midtown to get to Battery Park using transit & it works perfectly.

Yep...I used it yesterday & this morning. No issues.

Anyone having issues when sending SMS messages? Seems i can only send when people are using iMessage?

I am having issues as well.

I am having no problem sending SMS, works the way it should. I did not do a clean install, I used the beta certificate and did OTA no problems.

So after a few days of iOS 12 beta, have to say it is far more stable on ipad pro 12.9 and iPhoneX. Only two apps that don't launch right now are Microsoft Teams and Skype.

So if these apps are essential for you, perhaps best to delay any beta adventures.
