Podcast app on 8.1.3 iPhone 6+ not finalizing downloads or marking as played.

Hey guys,

I just started noticing this issue this week. None of my podcasts are showing as fully downloaded. Then once I listen to it and the app refreshes to look for new episodes it kicks those episodes I have already listened to back into my feed and tries to download them again.

Anyone else notice this issue or have a work around? I'll try and post a pic of what it looks like.

This is what it stays like all day. And even puts fully played episodes back into the download que.

That is weird. Have you tried rebooting your iPhone? I'm not sure that will cure it but it's worth a try!

Just switched over to the native podcast app from Downcast. My podcasts are showing everything as downloaded. I'll watch for this other issue today.

Running 8.1.3 in 6+ and no issues with Podcast as OP describes... Maybe try to delete and reinstall... Check your settings too to make sure it's set to delete podcasts after they've been listened...
