Jailbreak revert questions

I am currently running 5.1.1 on my iPhone 4s. With Apple's unflattering iOS 7 announcement, I am finally ready to jailbreak, just for a change. I mainly want to know if I can revert back to 5.1.1 after a jailbreak? I know Apple stops signing older software after a new version is released. SO.... what exactly are all the steps to revert to 5.1.1?

Read something about saving SHSH blobs and things like this. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Those steps do not apply to a 4S. If something goes wrong, your only option would be to update to 6.1.3.

You're welcome. Now if/when the SemiRestore app becomes available, that WOULD work for you. Until then, however, just be really careful.
