I figured this was the best place to ask if there is a method yet to jailbreak the version named in the title. If no current method, how long should one be anticipated? Thanks.

Not yet, as the iPhone 4S is an A5 device. We're hoping it'll be out in the next few weeks, but no promises.

try a few months! i have said march since ios6 dropped and im sticking with it... ive got a jailbreak date pool somewhere in the jailbreak section, you should get in on it

I do think it won't be long after 6.1, of course, who knows how long it will take 6.1 to come out.
