All day today I go into the default weather app and it shows my city name but the temp is like 20 degrees warmer and it shows nothing other than the High and Low for the day.

I just checked mine and its updating fine as well as the temp compared to my other weather apps is on point.
Did you try closing out the app in the bottom tray, put your device in airplane mode for a moment them switch back. Maybe that'll jog the network to update it if it had a hiccup.

I'll try that. I just went into it again a couple mins ago and it says "weather unavaiable" now .....

It's also a possibility in your area there's an issue with the server causing it to not be able to update. If your now seeing weather unavailable its sounding like that's the problem and most likely not your device.
You could also try to reboot your device as well as a last resort.
