Iphone 5 Hearing Aid Compatibility

Is the Iphone 5 Hearing aid compatible? Anyone with hearing aids tried it yet?

I make phone calls with the phone just fine and rarely get feedback from my hearing aid. I just looked now, and noticed that under settings there is a hearing aid mode that is 'supposed to improve audio quality' with some hearing aids. I just slid that into the on position and couldn't even force any feedback while nearly trying to shove the whole phone into my ear. I got no complaints about it.
