MyWi Question!!!!

I have a WiFi only iPad and the only thing I'm tethering is the iPad... Question is, if i turn on the MyWi on my iPhone and leave it on will it consume data even when I'm not using the iPad? I use the iPad for work and my objective is to be able to turn on the MyWi on and be able to use the iPad without having to turn the MyWi on and off every time i want to use it.

i wouldn't think so. as long as you secure it the only thing that should be consumed would be the battery

have you looked into the MyWi OnDemand option? it is an additional one-time charge but it seems it would work perfectly for your situation

I have the on demand and it worked pretty good when i had the iPad 1, now that i have the iPad 2 i guess i just need to wait for the jailbreak for it.
