I previously jailbroke and unlocked my phone with redsnow. I then downloaded a custom ipsw and went to firmware 3.1. Recently, my phone froze and I was forced to do a restore. I did the restore, restoring to firmware 3.0. Then I redid the jailbreak via redsnow.
Now, I am trying to get my phone completely restored. Itunes won't sync because the backup was created with firmware 3.1 and it says the software is too old. I think what I need to do is upgrade the ipsw to some version of 3.1. Where can I get an ipsw that will not change the base band and allow me to keep an unlocked iphone (and also restore my phone)?
