Lost my back up

Hey guys, I lost my back up on my computer because my sister installed a new OS on her mac. So.... I'm going to use a different computer now. My phone is jail broken and my question is, how do I back up my contacts and everything again on my new computer before I restore and update my iphone back to normal. Thanks.

I'd check the sync settings though. (Just in case it syncs a lovely blank address book 'master' over your full iPhone contacts).
