How do I get more apps on Cydia?

I just got a new iPhone. What is Cydia?

I just bought an iPhone. Why does Cydia have a lot of programs but Instaler doesn't?

Not sure how he got more, but I am guessing he added more sources to Cydia.

Check your filter settings

Under Manage, click Settings. There is an option there to filter the packages, if you have just User (Graphical Only) then you won't see as much. I use Hacker (+ Command Line) myself.

I usually try to keep my sources to a minimum to avoid a long refresh time. If I find some app mentioned on the web that I want, I add whatever source is needed for that one app.
