Apple secretly change the keyboard behavior in ios 7?

Has anyone noticed this new change in the ios keyboard? I remember a time when I had to type to someone that a certain DVD they wanted was either "half" or "1/2 " off. Obviously it didn't look right so I wrote down the word instead. But now... As I was describing to someone how a certain DVD was priced they keyboard AUTOMAGICALLY corrected it to ? HOLY CRAP! Has anyone noticed this change or discovered any new ones?

I also discovered cohost corrects to
℅ host Gah!!!! How random!

However dates aren't corrected to subscript 14th, 3rd etc...

Anyone noticed when this happened?

cohost autocorrects to loco host for me.

The DVD is half off. The DVD is half price .

Nope, nothing happening.
