iOS 6 and battery life

Today is my first chance to run a full power cycle from 100%. Will report back with results.
I will note; however, that it has been off the charger for about an hour now playing music through my iPod function and remains at a full charge. My battery life was questionable on iOS 5, so here's to hoping that it gets better with the update to 6.

My batt life after update seems to be the same as with 5.1.1. I unplugged when a call came in it was at 100%. After the call (23 min) down to 99%. Had a bunch of apps running in the background also.

Bleeding and I have not even touched it since I turned the phone off airplane mode at 8am. I am down to 89% without doing so much as just touching it on to see the percent. So 11% loss with signal on.

I know others have mentioned this and not sure if it make a difference but were the updates done after a restore (wipe) or just over the existing version?

Maybe a restore/wipe would help?

To me even prior to iOS 6 location services is a batt killer. I only turn it on when I have to. GPS for driving and when traveling with airlines for certain location based apps. I'm interested in how location services affects iPhone 5 batt

So far I have been on standby for 6 hour and 17 minutes and have had 1 hour and 5 minutes of usage and my battery is at 83%. So far it is some what better then before with 5.1.1.

I didn't do a restore. I updated through iTunes over the existing os.

I have jawbone shards coming out of my gums ! from using Tapatalk.

It Ate up 13% in 2:00 exactly while all sensors are off, searched the web for 15min and played music for 30 mins !
Horrible !

I noticed crappy battery life, so I turned off location services for Passbook, and that seemed to have resolved it.

Usage - 1 hour 30 minutes
Standby = 3 hours 31 minutes

just from some light WWF and txt's ... i'm at 52% on wifi, and loc services on ... hmm i dont recall this going that fast yesterday. i read letting it die down to 0 then a recharge may help on an earlier post...perhaps i'll give that a whirl

I have 5 hours solid use (mostly iMore forum app) with 18 hours stand by and still have 32% remaining... not bad I would say

I'm not looking good. The new auto-brightness is so bright. May have something to do with it.
