Ever since updating to iOS 13.1.3 on Tuesday, I’ve been experiencing my phone (11 Pro Max) getting quite warm and actually eventually losing charge while on the wireless charger in my car (2018 BMW).
It had been working fine prior to the update, both in terms of charging and not getting too warm, so I’m strongly inclined to think something change in iOS 13.1.3 either in terms of wireless charging or with CarPlay/the connection to the car that is burning battery and heating up the phone.
I have tried unpairing and deleting the phone from the car/car from the phone but it is still happening.
It charges fine wirelessly and when plugged in outside of the car.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
