Chat Search Results

I did a search within the Messages app and when it returned the results in a Group Chat it doesn’t list contact names but instead it shows it as a chat # as the users. Why does it do that? Can’t really see who’s saying what which is why I’m searching for it. My friend is denying he said something so I’m trying to call him out.

I don't know. I don't participate in group messaging on my iPhone. Still, I hope that those who do as well use the search function of the Messages app will reply soon.

Yeah, I noticed the same behavior too.
I don’t have an explanation though.
