Answering phone calls via iMac: I can hear them, but they can't hear me!

Hoping someone can help me out here!

I often take calls on my iMac. I get notifications on my screen (and on my iPhone of course!), and prefer to accept it while sitting at my computer. It's easy.

Used to be able to do this NO PROBLEM from my old iPhone, but since my update to iPhone X, when I accept a call on my iMac, the caller can't hear me. I can hear THEM, but they can't hear me.

I assume this is a simple setting tweak, hoping someone has a fix for me. I haven't found the setting yet

I would check to be sure your mic isn’t muted on the Mac, and is selected for voice.

Apple Continuity settings. Click on Cellular Calls and then double check all the settings on both your iPhone and your Mac.

Also try making sure you have the right sound input on the Mac.
