    ok so here is what i am curious about ... how come icloud (drive/files - whatever it is called these days) hides the file extensions? what if i actually want to see those extensions so that i know which file i am trying to open? is there a way to force it to show me the extension names? any advice on how to go about doing that?

    You can long press on the file and select "info"
