tring to update and it says that it is unable because icloud backup in not complete

You can cancel the iCloud back up at anytime

Make sure your on a strong WiFi signal. Upload speeds are usually a lot slower than download speeds. You can also back up thru iTunes before doing your update

You don't need a backup before an update but we STRONGLY recommend it
