I prefer the web interface on the iPhone over the mail app on the iPhone. When the native app supports threaded email, it will rock even more.

Sometimes I love threaded mail, other times I absolutely loathe it.

Before I was on the iPhone I had yahoo. Got the iPhone and was soooo happy that yahoo could push my email. Well it worked like 25% of the time or even less. And sometimes it would not work for days.

Anyway heard that with Gmail I could ExchangeSync for free my calendar and contacts OTA with googlesync. So I got an account tested it out and was like WOW, this works and works all the time. Gmail facililated moving all my yahoo mail to gmail and I was switched.

I tried nuevasync for push (was cheap) but it was not reliable and it really was slow. Not slow at push, that worked well. But my calendar and contacts sync became real slow and for some reason it refreshed my email folders almost daily, as I sat there and watched while it did its refresh for minutes. It also screwed up the functionality of the drafts folder, which I use.

Anyway, went back to googlesync, gave up the push email and never looked back.

Though now with GPUSH, gmail has it all.

I decided to go ahead and use MobileMe. I tried it before and decided to can it before my free trial was over. I think I'm going to go ahead and keep it this time around.

I prefer the gmail web app to the iPhone Mail app too. Gmail has soon cool features that just IMAP doesn't support.

Better question: which would you rather drive, a ferrari or a yugo??

Gmail is better without question. Anyone that has used both services would agree.

G mail is always ahead, it is fast, user friendly and completely professional. It really saves time and I think many people will agree with me.

I still have my Gmail account and I've never really cared for the setup of yahoos website. But ever since I got mobileme, all my gmail just gets forwarded to my @me.com account and i don't think i'll ever give up mobileme as long as I use Macs and have an iPhone.

I really only go into my Gmail account nowadays in order to occasionally delete my bulk/spam mail folder.

i need to retry my mobile me with gmail. i had been pushing my emails to mobile me, then for some reason they had quit working. i switched back over to gmail and gpush, but i used to love the convience of having it all in one place. i've got this new iphone now so i might go back to forwarding the mail. i really did like the mobile me option.

yeah, so for some reason my gmail does not want to forward to my mobile me acct at all!!! i'm just going to leave well enough alone and use gpush like i've been doing. besides the contacts and find my iphone though, i kinda wasted mobile me at this point. oh well, good for a year.

hmmm i went to use the find my iphone on mobile me and it said there was a server connection issue or something. i also saw where i guess there is supposed to be maint work done tonight. i wonder if this is why it isnt working right at this moment. i'll have to check later. if i could get the google synch push email to work that would be perfect!
